The midsole is built using a lightweight foam compound we call RapidBreeze tech. In plain English, it’s a thicker, more responsive sole designed to absorb the constant impact of hard ground and give you a little bit of energy back with every step. It creates a solid, supportive base that feels just as good when you're standing still as it does when you're moving constantly.
We’ve been working on a brand-new insole called PlushAir, and these RapidBreeze range of shoes are actually the very first pair we’re putting it in. We wanted to make something that helps distribute your weight evenly, taking the pressure off your arches and heels so you don't get that familiar dull ache at the end of a long day. It’s a super lightweight foam cushion that gives your feet a soft, responsive landing without flattening out over time.
The upper is made from knit that stretches where you need it to but still holds its shape. We wove it with a dual-tone pattern to give it some visual depth, and lined the inside with smooth Lycra so there aren't any rough seams rubbing against your skin. There are no extra overlays or distractions, just an uncomplicated fit that lets air flow through so your feet don't overheat.
We used a ribbed spandex collar around the ankle, which means the shoe stretches wide when you slide your foot in, but snaps back to hug your ankle securely once it's on. And the extra padding on the heel ensures the whole sliding in and locked-in fit feels soft & comfortable.
